By special request...

I never again want to be mistaken for a trainspotter.

Anna,

You're most welcome. Feel free to visit the bright orange monster anytime. (No, I haven't acquired a penchanct for bad fake tan - I was referring to the machine...)

I do feel a bit self conscious sporting the WET SPOT MACHINE so prominently on my blog - I may have to post half a page of anything just to shuffle it further down the page...

Oh my. So that is what that spot is all about? I love trains too. Especially when they are punctual.

Am I the only one who misread the text on the left as 'pleaser and teaser' at first sight....?

Hello, Dr Why, I found you via Anna. Nice to meet you.

Hello (Doctor?) Why, - I don't know what to say. Anna said I wouldn't know I'd lived till I'd seen it. I do not find things like this beautiful, but all the cool people I know do so I wish I did and sometimes I pretend I do (how sad is that) but of course I won't do that here, I will be completely honest with you. I do, however, find something kind of beautiful in the idea of others finding it so. And I like anoraks, I do really.

Ario,

Nice to meet you, too. I'd never previously been tempted to misread what I assume to be the maker's name as "Pleaser and Teaser", but I am certain I shall do from now on...

Signs (if that's not too familiar),

Lovely to meet you, too, and please feel free to call me But. I'm sorry your trip over here hasn't left you enthralled by the beauty of the beast, but perhaps you enjoyed the scenery on your journey?

I must confess I've never been particularly fond of anoraks, I find the fake fur irritates my neck... And the only thing I find beautiful about the WET SPOT MACHINE was the kindness of the unknown person who thought they'd write its name in big letters on the side to give me a chuckle on my way home each day. Perhaps if I could learn to find beauty in the machine, I could learn to love Woking, too...

Trousers,

Lovely to see you here. I would have liked to have been able to explain what the WET SPOT MACHINE actually does, but since my interest was piqued, I've been unable to find anyone who can answer my questions. Perhaps I should offer a cash reward in return for answers?

Hello But - sorry about this, but I have tagged you (well, in actual fact, am just about to).

I simply must NOT show number 3 son! He would want to save it to his train pics memory stick and would then be scared for life once he realised the inference when he was old enough to make the connection...

dj,

Hi, lovely to see you again. I think the damage has already been done for me. In my web wanderings to try to find out what a WET SPOT MACHINE actually does, I discovered that this particular WET SPOT MACHINE has its own stalker site. Oh yes. Really. The gory details can be found here.

The mind boggles...
