OK that is kindof funny. It's like a death version of version tracking...

Titration,
I love it - so much attention (and presumably, money) paid to keep it in good condition, only for it to get destroyed a few years after restoration. I also like the way that this replica continues the version history... I wonder what the next iteration will read?

Perhaps he was really hot in the sack?

But no, it probably means he paid his bills on time and did his bit for charity.

But if it's private how would they, like, know?

I like cemeteries; there are some really interesting grave-stones and an insight into small parts of history.

Casdok,
Well, it tickled me. I liked the way they kept adding an extra plinth to the bottom whenever more inscription was added.

Signs,
In a way, I'm hoping that it means exactly that - and come to think of it, I suspect the chap would rather have a memorial which stated he was superb in bed than said he paid his bills on time...

Kahless,
I can highly recommend a wander round Brompton if you're ever in the area - it's very pleasant, though perhaps it's best to avoid Saturdays when Chelsea are playing at home... (Stamford Bridge is perilously close to the south west corner of the cemetery.)

Maybe, if they keep adding plinths....is this how the pyramids came to be?

Trousers,
Dear boy, I do believe you might be onto something!
